Munch Munch · account & data deletion
You can permanently delete your Munch Munch account and all associated data at any time. This is the fastest way, and it works whether you use Munch Munch as a guest or signed in with Apple or Google.
Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open Munch Munch on your device.
- Go to Settings (top-right of the Today screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm Delete. Your account and data are removed right away.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account (for Apple/Google sign-in), or include the email you used. We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in identifiers.
- Your meal photos and their AI analysis.
- Your Day Scores, history, tips, and summaries.
- Your app preferences and reminder settings.
What may be retained
We may keep a limited set of records where required to meet legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations. These are kept only as long as necessary and are not used to rebuild your profile. Subscription and payment records are held by Apple or Google under their own policies — cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings, as deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription.
Timing
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 30 days of verification. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
