Terms of Service

Welcome to Munch Munch. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Munch Munch and govern your use of the Munch Munch mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Munch Munch lets you photograph your meals and receive an AI-generated daily score, tips, and summaries designed to encourage balanced eating. The Service provides general wellness information only.
Not medical advice. Munch Munch is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Scores, calorie estimates, and tips are approximate and for general informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional for health or dietary decisions, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the app.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You may use Munch Munch as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for keeping your device secure.
3. Subscriptions & billing
- Munch Munch offers a limited number of free analyses and optional auto-renewing subscriptions for continued use.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and corrections you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit any photo you upload.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:
- uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service;
- accessing the Service through unauthorized means or reselling it.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Munch Munch and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content except as needed to use the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that scores or estimates are accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Munch Munch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on scores, tips, or estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings or via our deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
